Local Rules
Greens
Holes #1 to #9 have greens on the left side of the fairway while approaching and Holes #10 to #18 have the greens on the right side.
Pin Position
The position of the hole on the green is indicated by the color of the flag. RED – Front of Green / WHITE – Middle of Green / YELLOW – Back of Green.
Penalty Area
If a ball comes to rest in either Red or Yellow Penalty Area’s, then the player may take penalty relief under Rule 17.1d or 17.2 in the Rules of Golf as applicable. Lateral relief is only allowed from Red Penalty Area and may be taken laterally from the point of entry.
Out of Bounds
A Ball that comes to rest beyond the perimeter fence / walls of the holes – 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 17 & 18. If a ball is Out of Bounds or OB, the player must take stroke & distance relief as per rule 18.2b in the Rules of Golf. If there is a doubt regarding the OB status of the ball, the player can play a Provisional Ball as per Rule 18.3a. The Player needs to announce to someone that he is hitting a Provisional Ball beforehand. The Player and the Caddy have Three Minutes to find the original ball. If not found within the Three Minutes, then the Provisional Ball is in Play.
GUR
Drains, Roads, Pathways, Course Markers, Marked Saplings, Rocky Surface on Fairway, Marked Ground Under Repair – If a ball comes to rest on any of these, then the ball can be marked & dropped within ONE club length, not nearer to the hole, without loss of stroke.
Floodlight Poles
If a ball comes to rest within one club length of a floodlight pole and is causing either the swing or stance to be obstructed, then the ball can be marked & dropped within ONE club length, not nearer to the hole, without loss of stroke.
Net
If a ball comes to rest on the net or within one club length of the net on Hole #3, 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18 and is causing either the swing or stance to be obstructed, then the ball can be marked & dropped within TWO club lengths, not nearer to the hole, without loss of stroke.
Cart Path
If the ball comes to rest on or within one club length of the cart path and is causing either the swing or stance to be obstructed (in the general area), then the ball can be marked & dropped within ONE club length, not nearer to the hole, without loss of stroke. If the cart path is inside a penalty area, then it is not allowed to take free relief.
Young Trees
In order to protect newly planted Tree’s on the course, there are areas marked as No Play Zone. Find the nearest Point of Relief, drop the ball without loss of stroke and play from there. To protect marked Young trees and Saplings which are in the Rough, if a Young Tree is causing either the swing or stance to be obstructed, then the ball can be marked & dropped within ONE club length, not nearer to the hole, without loss of stroke. For purposes of clarity, any marked or unmarked tree which has not attained the height of 6 feet is considered to be a young tree.
Bunker
If the Bunker is not Raked or if the Ball lies in a Footmark, then Rake the sand and place the ball in the same spot and then play.
Order of Play
In a shotgun tee off, the holes will be played in ascending order until #18, after which #1 is to be played.
